WHAT IS FBLA?

The Future Business Leaders of America, otherwise known as FBLA, is a student business organization that prepares students for a career in business. Through the various leadership development opportunities, academic competitions, and educational programs, members are able to expand their community service, receive awards and recognition for their efforts, and experience exclusive benefits for travel and education.​
​
During the year, members are expected to compete in events related to business administration, finance, information technology, communication, and many other topics. Events are objective, production, or performance based and are completed as an individual or team. Most members start at the section level. From there, they can advance to State and Nationals and win scholarships.

Our Chapter
​
The Liberal Arts and Science Academy (LASA) FBLA is a chapter within central Texas. The chapter was opened in the fall of 2017 and has been active since. Our goal is to provide a comprehensive learning experience that is unique to FBLA, and create a valuable and diverse set of skills that will be useful in our future aspirations. With this, we hope to help students into the successful future they have always dreamed of. We always encourage students to join FBLA.
